CoolTouch introduces the CoolLipoTM 1320 nm laser system designed exclusively
for fat removal in small areas such as the neck, chin, and other areas not easily
treatable by conventional liposuction. The short pulse length, higher peak power,
and exclusive 1320 wavelength make the CoolLipo system your best laser choice for
laser-assisted lipolysis.
CoolLipoTM FEATURES
- Short pulse width ablates higher tissue volume with less collateral damage
- High peak power creates more effective disruption to liquefy the fat
- 1320 nm wavelength targets water in connective tissue for collagen rejuvenation and skin tightening effect
- Aiming beam allows identification of treatment area
CoolLipoTM BENEFITS
- Gentle fat disruption and removal technique for small areas
- Treats areas that are difficult for conventional liposuction
- Less invasive than a neck or face lift
- May be performed under local anesthesia only
- Short procedure time
- Performed in your physician’s office
- Safe with minimal bruising and side effects
- Minimal downtime post-procedure
CoolLipo FAQ
- Why should I use the CoolLipo system with its 1320 nm wavelength and not 1064 nm for skin tightening?
- The chromophores that are peak absorbers for 1064 nm are melanin and hemoglobin. CoolLipo’s wavelength of 1320 nm targets water, its major chromophore. CoolLipo directly heats the water in the dermal collagen to cause shrinkage and ultimately stimulate cellular re-growth, promoting reduction of lines and wrinkles and providing skin tightening. The 1064 nm wavelength first heats secondary structures, then by conduction, heats the primary target, the dermal collagen. In essence, 1320 nm is the appropriate wavelength to use, as it directly hits the primary target, collagen, not by secondary heat transference that occurs with 1064 nm.Also, the 1320’s depth of penetration is 1mm versus the 1064 nm, which is 10x that, or about 1 centimeter. Lastly, 1064 nm can potentially damage structures much deeper than the target dermal layer, making 1320 nm much safer to use.
