CoolTouch Varia

The CoolTouch VARIA long-pulsed laser system delivers safe, easy and effective treatment for telangiectasia and veins, from small superficial vessels to deeper blue veins, as well as unwanted hair, anywhere on the body. It is safe for all skin types, including tanned and dark-skinned patients. The VARIA 1064 nm laser is a great alternative choice to sclerotherapy and is a perfect companion to the CoolTouch CTEV endovenous laser.

Thermal Quenching Post-Cooling
A pulse of 1064 nm light, matched to the size of the vessel, penetrates deeply into the dermis to the target. Selective absorption occurs through the depth of the vessel creating heat sufficient for closure. After absorption heats the vessel a pulse of cooling selectively protects surface structures and quenches the heat rising from the vessel. With Thermal Quenching, no energy is wasted reheating a pre-cooled target.
